DO NOT waste your money or time for this school. Just because the school gives you the student visa they think they have all the rights. They frequently ask you where do you work ( I can understand this one) and how much do you get paid which is none of their business. Where do I work, how much I work or how much I earn is a personal information which is only the Immigration bureau can ask,this is immigration's work, not this language school's.All they care is money, not students. Even though their tuition fees more expensive than the Hokkaido University, their education quality lower than my country's Japanese course. The teachers are not really teachers (except one). Teachers working there just because they're japanese. (some of them is okay though) Consider that they might yell at you infront of everyone if you do something they don't like, which is I wouldn't believe if I haven't seen it with my own eyes. Also, note that office staff is no use as well. They might lie to you or pretend don't know anything about the information you want to get. Also, they might do a mistake when you pay your bills.(more than you should pay) Thanks that I noticed that, who knows how much more I haven't noticed. And one last thing about dormitory. It's not dormitory, just an apartment in a usual building. The school gives the room for 1person to 2 people. Moreover, it's twice the normal price of that room. You can still choose no share room, but you'll still pay the twice of the price. Better find a room or a house by real estate company. A pity for the...

I read the other comments and I decided I had to write something: 1: i have been here for 9 months and I've never heard a teacher yell or intimidate anyone; 2: in my opinion all teacher of this school are able to give good explanation and, if they don't know something, they will just look for an answer. We are all humans and sometime we don't know the reason behind some grammatical rules of our own language since we use it instinctively; 3: in Japan cleaning the classroom for any student is perfectly normal, so if you want to study in a Japanese school you have to behave like a Japanese student; 4: i have to say that sometime teachers treat people like children, but, BUT, only people who act like children. Because even if we are all adults a lot of people act like middle school students; 5: speaking about Kanji lessons, in my opinion kanji lessons are good. As I said earlier, it's normal don't know everything of your own language especially if you have to know more that 2000 kanjis.

If you want to learn Japanese, you can't think attending the school is all you have to do, you have to find your own way...

Setelah berbicara dengan beberapa lulusan sekolah ini, saya memutuskan untuk membagikan pengalaman saya dan berusaha menulisnya secara objektif. Ulasan ini akan mencakup sisi kelebihan dan kekurangan yang perlu diperhatikan.

Kelebihan Sekolah Saya memilih sekolah ini dengan tujuan utama mempersiapkan diri untuk studi S2 di Jepang. Berkat bantuan dari pihak sekolah—khususnya dalam latihan wawancara dan pemahaman budaya Jepang—saya berhasil lolos seleksi mandiri ke universitas yang saya targetkan. Dukungan ini sangat berarti dan menjadi nilai tambah besar dari sekolah tersebut.

Kekurangan dan Saran Perbaikan Namun, ada beberapa hal yang menurut saya perlu dikritisi:

Sistem Pengajaran yang Kurang Terfokus Saya masuk ke kelas advanced, di mana mayoritas siswa sudah memiliki dasar bahasa Jepang yang kuat dan keunggulan di bidang masing-masing (contoh: kanji, grammar, listening) Meskipun guru-guru bekerja keras, jumlah siswa terlalu banyak dan waktu belajar terbatas, menyebabkan materi tidak terstruktur dengan baik. Akibatnya, banyak siswa (termasuk saya) merasa perkembangan belajar kurang optimal karena materi sering tumpang tindih dengan yang sudah dipelajari mandiri, membuat pelajar cenderung untuk belajar sendiri sebagai arus utama ketimbang belajar di kelas.

Saran Perbaikan: Matrikulasi dan pengelompokan siswa berdasarkan keunggulan di bidang masing-masing. Pengurangan jumlah siswa per kelas untuk meningkatkan fokus pengajaran. Kelas intensif bagi yang ingin mendalami materi tertentu.

Mungkin yang disarankan sangat berkaitan dengan masalah pendanaan, tetapi perlu diingat juga tingkat kepuasan pelajar bersekolah disini dan kebermanfaatan juga penting, terutama para pelajar kelas advanced yang ingin mengejar bahasa Jepang tingkat tinggi. Dua hal ini berdampak juga untuk keberlangsungan dan kredibilitas sekolah ini dalam jangka panjang.

Respons Terbatas dalam Situasi Darurat Suatu malam di musim salju, saya kehilangan kunci apartemen dan menghubungi sekolah untuk meminta kunci darurat. Sayangnya, respons yang diberikan adalah saya harus menunggu hingga hari kerja, tanpa solusi segera. Untungnya, saya bisa menginap di tempat teman dan dapat mengatasi situasi tersebut, namun ini bisa menjadi masalah serius bagi siswa lain yang tidak memiliki opsi darurat.

Saran: Sekolah sebaiknya memiliki protokol darurat untuk membantu siswa dalam kondisi kritis, terutama di musim ekstrem seperti salju.

Kesimpulan Secara keseluruhan, sekolah ini bermanfaat bagi yang ingin studi lanjut di Jepang, terutama dalam persiapan akademik. Namun, perlu perbaikan sistem pengajaran dan layanan darurat agar lebih optimal.

Saya harap ulasan ini membantu calon siswa dalam mempertimbangkan pilihan mereka. Semoga sekolah ini terus berkembang menjadi tempat belajar yang lebih baik.
