A very cosy relaxing art gallery. We spent quite long time here exploring each floor. They have reading corner and many sketchbooks for visitors to draw and write down their feelings about this gallery, about life, about art research etc. It was quite touching reading those comments and seeing the drawings on the sketchbook. Nice free Japanese dessert and simple drink. Please come to visit if you like art and quiet cosy time.

This is a nice and small art gallery known by few. The gallery is well managed and they offer free coffee and cookies, on second and third floor, you can even read art books or manga, it’s a good place for people who love art and want to spend their time in artistic and quiet place.

隠れ家のような美術館です。地下鉄「学園前」駅から歩いて数分です。以前にも訪問させていただきましたが、1階にも展示室が増えていました。落ち着いた調度品や、茶菓のサービス、来訪者がかけることのできるオーディオ、あちこちに配置された書籍など、まるで知人宅を訪問させていただいたような気分になります。今回の訪問時は「目をつぶり 感じるもの」ということで、何人かの画家の作品が展示されていました。ちょっと椅子に座ってみたり、書棚を眺めてみたりして、静かにゆったりと観賞することができ、どれも素敵な作品でした。 (追記) コロナ禍でしばらく休館の後、入館が時間別予約制に変わりました。また、1つの会期で2つの企画を同時に開催になっています。美術館を独占できるなんて、なんと贅沢なことでしょうか！
