Visited the park in Autumn Times and it was super beautiful with the red leaves (紅葉) all over the mountains. You can take tons of good pictures even just with your iPhone.
So blessed that the weather was super nice with sunshine whole day so that we could have a short morning trekking and enjoy this amazing and breathtaking scenery along the way. And luckily not many tourists at that time.
There was also an illumination show at night (only available for several months). Galaxy-like animations were projected on rocks, soil, and tree trunks which altogether composed a surreal picture. There was a light show over the bridge too, but personally I think that’s a bit lame though.

Read moreWe came to Futami Park to walk the Futami Jozan Road in December 2024. The official website says it’s closed in winter, but that’s not true: only a small section that goes down along the riverside by Futami Park is closed. The path from the park to the iconic red bridge was cleared and easy to walk, but the trail which continues to Ikoi Square and beyond is not. Read moreIt's a nice jaunt, there is an illumination event from June to October for guests of hotels in the area. You receive tickets from the front desk and you just place them inside a box near the entrance of the lit path. Cute photo spots once it gets dark, gets a bit crowded. There is a public restroom located near the entrance.
