仙台城搦手の出入り口ここから南は竜ノ口渓谷があり人が登れない断崖絶壁になります。詰門から本丸裏手を回って侵入しようとした場合の最後の門になります。ここに平屋瓦葺きの小さな門が西向きで立っていたらしく、この門に至る前に二折しないといけないため防御性が高いつくりとなっていた。しかし現存する遺構はほとんどないのは残念である。現在は用の出入り口となっていて車で来た場合この場所から入ることになります。観光バスなどが多く...

路線バス(るーぷる仙台)のバス停があります。 青葉山や国際センターに停車するので、国際センターから仙台城跡へ行く坂が急な上り坂なので、楽する場合はバスを使用したほうが良いです。 るーぷる仙台のバスの話になりますが、2023年2月中旬の土曜日に利用しました。仙台駅への直通のバスがあり便利だったのと、乗っている間に様々な情報をバスの運転手が案内していただけたの...
