お盆休みの仙台旅行。観光スポットのメイン・仙台城跡にてランチタイムです。あまりの空腹に牛タン屋さんの行列が待ち切れず、向かいのフードコートを覗いてみると····あれ？夏場は提供期間ではないはずの「宮城名物はらこめし(¥2,000)」が有るじゃないですか。今回の旅では百％諦めてたので千載一遇のチャンスと勝手に捉え即注文です。 ところが出てきたはらこ飯、イメージとは全くかけ離れた貧相っぷり。まずはイクラの量が少な過ぎ。はらこ＝腹子(イクラ)なんだから、この量では看板に偽りでしょ。そして煮上げた鮭がカスカス。ただ唯一旨かったのは鮭の煮汁で炊いたご飯。これはなかなかの味わいですね！スゴイ。それでも価格不相応な印象は最後まで拭えず。辺りを見回すと、自分同様はらこ飯を注文したお客さんが複数散見。皆さん騙されても？一度は食べたいんでしょうが、やっぱり正規のシーズンで食すべしです。

最新追記あり コロナ禍、厳しいですね。 お昼でも食事している人はまばらで、営業してるかどうかも分からないお店があるくらいでした→観光客が戻りつつあり、営業始まってました。 テラス席は使えないようにしてあって、最初にそのテーブルと椅子が目に入った時は何事かと思っちゃいました(^-^;)→こちらも少しずつ賑わいを取り戻しています。 ※2021.11月※ 伊達武将隊も復活し、観光案内の方も元気にお仕事してました☆ ※2023.5月※ フードコートのメニューは随分少なめですが、営業していました。
