Shizuoka Station — Attraction in Shizuoka

Really nice and clean train station - as expected in Japan. There are plenty of shops to walk around and have a look but we were really here to take the Shinkansen. After buying the tickets, we went upstairs to the tracks. The train platforms are not very modern, but functional and complete with lots of vending machines. While we were waiting for our Shinkansen, one flew by on the middle track and it gave us all a mightly scare. It was incredible the speed these beautiful machines can get up to.
