石造が非常に多いセットの中で、木造感が強い部屋です。屋根裏部屋をイメージしていると言われます。 個人的には、スネイプ先生が好きなので、この部屋にも飾られていて、『アズカバンの囚人』のシーンを思い出しました。 案内板を文字起こししておきます。

●闇の魔術に対する防衛術の教室 教室の内装は、担当教師が変わるたびに教師の個性に合わせて変更されました。"闇の魔術に対する防衛術"のシーンはシリーズ第1作ではロンドン西部のラコック修道院でロケーション撮影しましたが、2作目(ギルデロイ・ロックハート先生が就任)以降はセットを組んでスタジオ撮影になりました。そのセットは『ファンタスティックビーストと黒い魔法使いの誕生』で16年ぶりに復活し、若き日のアルバス・ダンブルドアがその教室で防衛術を教えます。 展示してある教室の内装は「ハリー・ポッター」シリーズ第3作『アズカバンの囚人』のときと同じです。当時の担当教師はリーマス・ルーピンでした(ときどきセブルス・スネイプ先生が代理を務めることもありました)。

The classroom itself began as a location shoot at Lacock Abbey west of London for Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, and was recreated as a studio set beginning with Professor Lockhart's tenure in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
