The administrative head Temple of Nichiren Shu is located here. This was the home of the Ikegami family during the time of Nichiren. As he was dying he left Mt. Minobu and traveled by horse aided by his disciples in the hope of reaching Ikegami and the restorative benefits of the local hit springs. He did not survive the trip. He was cremated here and his ashes were then taken back to Mt Minobu. The ashes have been divided and some are stored here at Ikegami and...

Great park with lots of open area and nice little hiking trails. Close to ikegami shrine. The park has 2 dog runs, a play area for kids and the local old people here go fishing at the fountain lake for a bit of catch and release fun. A great park to go for those who live in...
