池上本門寺が開創された鎌倉時代から現代に至るまでの、池上本門寺や宗派である日蓮宗にまつわる文化財が展示・公開されている施設です。 毎週日曜日に公開され、料金は大人300円、子供200円です。霊宝殿自体はそれ程広くは無く、30分程度で全てを観覧することが出来ます。建物の構造や広さの関係上、文化財の展示のみで何かを体験するようなコーナー等はありませんが、それでも貴重な文化財の数々を間近で見られるので、素晴らしい時間を過ごせると思います。
