Ramen Kouki — Restaurant in Tokyo

Original: Nice ramen shop, I really enjoyed the nice fish flavors, great noodles, quality toppings, and the kind staff. The style of the ramen was somewhat unique, there was pork, chicken, sea bream, and other flavors in the broth, making a nice blend. We noticed the texture in the noodles as well, which were thin and well-suited for this style. I recommend this shop to others in the neighborhood.

Update October 2021: I returned again to this shop, and I had such a wonderful bowl of ramen that I wanted to update my review score from 4 to 5 stars. The broth was rich but also carried subtle flavors and dimensions, I've really grown to like it. This is a very unique taste, you really should try it if you have not done so already. Had the special sea bream ramen which was incredibly creamy but not heavy at all. Fish flavor but very little fishiness and overall the noodles and soup complimented each other very well. Also ordered a bowl of the tai rice which is rice with some salted sea bream meat on top that goes well mixed with the remaining soup from your ramen. Owner was grilled each piece of char siu with a hand torch and kind. カウンター席が10席にも満たない小さな居酒屋のようなお店です。そのため初めての利用者にはやや利用しにくい印象を与えるかもしれませんが、適度な居心地の良さを感じました。もちろん大人数での利用は全く向きません。 給仕されるラーメンはあっさりとしたスープが主体で、味・量ともに誰もが食べやすいです。お勧めは『鯛ラーメン』。透き通る黄金色のスープとほのかに香る鯛の香りが特徴で、魚介系のラーメン店によくある生臭さは全くありません。一緒に『鯛のほぐし身ごはん』を注文。そのままでも美味しいですが『鯛ラーメン』の残ったスープを加えることで香りがぐっと引き立ちます。いわゆる大衆ラーメン店のようなガヤガヤした雰囲気ではなく、素朴で気持ちを落ち着かせながら料理を堪能するレストランとして利用するといいかもしれません。
