Kami Akatsuka Park — Attraction in Tokyo

A modern neighbourhood playground with a new climbing frame, a set of swings, a large sandpit, a concrete hill slide, plenty of open space, and a pool for the summer season. Unfortunately the pool didn’t open this summer (2022) even though most of the other local ones did, so that was pretty disappointing. Next year?

The toilet facilities are clean and brand new, with multi-purpose toilets. There are some benches in the park to sit down on. The playground can get pretty crowded when school finishes, so with 0-2year olds, it’s better to visit in the morning. The school-age children run around pretty wildly! It would be nice to see the park with more greenery - trees and grass. The gravel floor is pretty rough when children fall but I guess it’s standard in Japan unfortunately.

ジャブ池目当てで行きました。 自宅から少し離れてるので、車で行きましたがコインパーキングはいくつかあるので、問題なく止められました。

土曜日の11時に到着すると、20人くらいが遊んでいました。 親が待機できる場所は階段状になっていて、日よけもあり、ミストも出るので快適に待っていられました。 何より、ジャブ池では珍しい滑り台があり、子供が何度もしていました。 （楽しめるのは年長から小学校1年生くらいまでだとは思いますが）

監視員のシニアのおばちゃんは、ルール違反（柵を乗り越えてプール間の行き来をするなど）に対して、なかなか厳しくご指導されてました笑
