This place is a good Instagram spot for cherry blossom photography. I visited Tokyo in end March, at the beginning of the cherry blossom (Sakura) season, and planned to stop by this place hoping to get a few good shots of the flowering trees, but alas, I came during the weekend. The whole park was crowded with both locals and tourists all looking to get a few good shots of the flowering trees! Best time to visit is just after the sunset and it will ossom. You can also find a lot of food stalls and musics all around. Authentic Japanese foods with strawberry juice is brilliant. Read moreCute little local park just up the hill from the river. Lots of seating and lovely grassy areas with shady trees for relaxing. A reflexology path can be found on its eastern side (although this was out of commission when we visited). Public toilets and an impressive amount of different plant and flower varieties. Also a playground for kids and a basketball court. There were however lots of pesky bugs lurking which resulted in a few bites....
