ここはもともと「すかいらーく」があった直営店の場所。 回転寿司になっているとのGoogleマップ情報で来店してみました。 この国道20号・甲州街道・桜上水駅入り口の近辺は和食さと・叙々苑・Dominoピザ・モスバーガー・マクドナルドがひしめき、差し向かいは行列が絶えない有名ラーメン店も点在するところ。 顧客の奪い合いは深夜にまで及んでいる。 そこでこの魚屋路だが、ネタは高級、価格も上等、ある意味で正直な寿司店だ。 お得なのは2,000円以下の海鮮丼で握り２貫は500円以上、 スシローのように次々に注文すると、３種で2,000円を超えた。 スシローなら500円以下だろうな、と比較してしまうのはどうしようもない。 生姜のガリは最近、スシローでもくら寿司でも規制がかけられたが、魚屋路は久しぶりにたくさん食べられた。 特にアジにガリを盛って食べる自分の習慣が復活できたのは感謝している。 回転寿司なのに、レーンに流れるのは広告看板だけ。 タッチパネルで注文すると、職人さんが目の前に来て対面で握ってくれる。 これは値段が高くても文句は言えまい。 しかし、すでに銚子丸も高いから止めようと足が向かない自分は、やっぱり1,000円未満で会計が済む「はま寿司」のほうがいいやと後悔が先に立ってしまう。 ネタが悪いのではない。 自分が悪いのだが。 もう二度と訪れること...
