Tokyo Big Sight South Exhibition Halls — Attraction in Tokyo

I recently exhibited at the Asia Diving Expo, hosted by Asahi Shinbunsha in the Tokyo Big Sight South Exhibition Halls, and overall, it was a great experience. The venue is spacious and well-organized, making it easy for visitors to navigate through the event. The facilities are clean, and the layout supports large exhibitions effectively.

The location is convenient, with good access to public transportation and plenty of nearby dining options. During the event, the staff were efficient and helpful, which contributed to a smooth experience.

One downside was the limited seating in some areas during peak times, which could be improved. However, as a venue for exhibitions like the Asia Diving Expo and the Good Life Fair, Tokyo Big Sight is fantastic, and I would definitely return for future events.

元西屋外展示場、西屋外有料駐車場となっていた場所に2019年7月にオープンした新展示棟。 東京オリンピックのプレスセンターとして活用する名目で、旧西屋外展示場・有料駐車場跡地に地上5Fの建物が建設されました。（東展示棟は放送センターとして活用） 青海展示棟とは異なり仮設ではなく、オリンピック後も展示棟として残すことになります。

一般的な入口自体はゆりかもめ線東京ビッグサイト駅直結の2F、タリーズコーヒーと7-11のあるエントランスプラザから海側方面（東西展示棟入口とは反対側・フェリーふ頭側）に進むとあります。 そこからコンコースが伸びており（動く歩道あり）、手前が南1ホール、奥が南2ホールとなっています。 南3・4ホールはエスカレーターで4Fに上がると、同じように手前が南3ホール、奥が南4ホールと続いています。 ちなみに南1・2ホールへの入口は幕張メッセと同様、1Fではなく2Fから入ってエスカレーターで下りて入場する形となります。

合わせて南棟立体駐車場もオープンしており、立体駐車場からは最も近い展示ホールとなっています。 駅から徒歩で向かう場合は場所柄離れてしまっているので、ゆりかもめ線東京ビッグサイト駅から南ホールの入口まで約7、8分はかかります。 （りんかい線の国際展示場駅からならば徒歩約10-13分ほど見た方がいいでしょう） ちなみに西展示棟とは隣接していますが、東展示棟――西展示棟の様に館内では直接に繋がってはおらず、一旦外に出ることになります。 4F（西3・4ホール）⇔（南3・4ホール）への場合は屋上展示場に出てから南展示棟の入口に向かう形になります。（入口まで屋根無し）

コンビニは2Fにあり、2019/9/3にローソンがオープンしました。 ちなみに3Fは休憩所となっており、椅子やテーブル、自動販売機コーナーなどがあります。
