Tsuruma Park — Attraction in Tokyo

This park is located just next to Granberry Mall and the associated station. It has a playground, grass lawn, and several seating areas. It can be directly accessed from the mall by a walkway/ slope. There is a nice avenue of trees. Depending on the time of year and day of the week you may also find food trucks in the park, serving hot food and drinks. (There are also vending machines). As is often the case in Japan, there were no rubbish bins that I could see, and you are encouraged to take your litter home with you (there are bins at the mall too.) At the weekends, this is a popular spot for young families and can be very busy, with many customers from Granberry Mall bringing fast food from the food court into the park for a picnic. Came on a Tuesday afternoon at the start of the Year so it was slightly busy. There is a small play area for kids to run around and climb as well as some smaller climbing ropes... This park is really good for kids and families. I often go here on weekend to enjoy shopping and playing with my son.

However, this park is very crowded even week days. So I recommend you prepare some food in advance if you want to have lunch here.
