A really cute cafe for those of us who grew up watching Shaun the Sheep 🐑
I ordered a cafe latte and Shaun waffle set. The latte itself was nothing special though it did come in a cute mug and had latte art of Shaun on top. The highlight of my experience was definitely the waffle! It came in the shape of Shaun's head and a very cute detail is how the whipped cream is supposed to mimic his fur 😭🫶 Also, another really cute aspect of the waffle is if you look under the whip cream, there are some cookie crumbs underneath (not sure if that's supposed to symbolize his brain but either way super cute!). The waffle comes with maple syrup and ice cream on the side too. As for the taste, the reason why I liked it so much was because of how simple it is! If you've been to themed cafes in Japan, sometimes they go way too overboard with the food items that it gets to a point where it just doesn't work. Because of that, I super appreciated how the Shaun cafe just decided to keep it simple but still on theme 🤗
The interior of the cafe is supposed to be a replica of the farmer's house which I felt was a very cute detail 🥺 Jumbo plushies of Shaun's friends are spread throughout the cafe and if you're lucky the staff will assign you a seat next to one of them 😆 The display of Shaun and Blitzer baking pies inside the cafe was soooooooo cute, I would definitely come here just to take photos of it 🤪
Staff were quite friendly and greeted me with a smile! If you're a big group, I highly suggest making a reservation on the website because even though I came on a weekday during an odd time the cafe was packed...
