Recently dined at American House, and the experience was enjoyable, the food and the staff service was good. The free refill on drinks was a nice touch, and the staff were quick to keep our glasses topped up without us having to ask.

As for the food, the Hot Buffalo Chicken, which not only had a satisfying spicy kick but also came in a huge portion—definitely more than enough for two persons, so great value for money! The American DX Pizza was solid with plenty of cheese and toppings like mushrooms, pepperoni and sausage, though the flavors were fairly standard.

The wait wasn’t too bad to get in but the wait for the food took a very long time. The waiter was either new, confused or just didn’t know how to be a waiter. For the cost the quality of food was underwhelming. They do offer free refills on drinks however both ginger ale and coke tasted like the fountain hoses needed to be cleaned out. If you're looking for an American meal experience, AMERICAN HOUSE does scratch the itch. I was concerned about the portion sizes at first (a valid concern for some Japanese restaurants), but was very pleased with the amount of food that came out. The food came out fairly quickly and the staff was very accommodating. It does get pretty busy at meal times so make a reservation if you can!
