I lived in this area for 12 years and it was always one of my favorite places to go anytime of the year but especially late spring and fall. Winter is even pretty awesome here. Take one of the lake cruises to experience Lake Towada from the water. It can get choppy in windy conditions but is a beautiful lake, and surrounding area. I visited here off and on from the early 1990s until 2017 and it has almost never changed along the Lakeshore. 十和田湖への到着時間が遊覧船の出発時間ギリギリだったので、 客引きのおじさんに「あそこのお土産屋さんの所に(車を)停めさせてもらえばいい。一帯は駐車場は有料だから」と教えられ昼食を食べる約束で、そこに駐車させてもらい行きました。帰りにつぶれたホテルに駐車している車もあったので、 「そこに停めときゃよかったかな？」とも思いました。

遊覧中に十和田湖の案内が流れていますが、声が小さく何を言っているか分からないことが多かったです。
