Beautiful station with the Shinkansen, JR local trains, Hida Express and local street car all in one spot. Has food venues but not as many like Osaka, Nagoya or Tokyo. The waiting areas are clean and modern. There are plenty of lockers, vending machines, tourist information department, help desk, 7 Eleven, and a few cafes.
