私は映画見て、いろいろ調べてから行ったんです。すごくワクワクして、名古屋からわざわざ敦賀に行って、ここに行きたかったです。でも最初から、イライラしてきました。日本政府は杉原さんを職奪ったことも書いてなかったし、言いたくない情報はすごく小さい字で、見れないくらい… それと、ずっと Tsuruga welcomed the refugees with a warm attitudeといったですが、目撃情報は差別の話ばっかりなのに！もちろん目撃情報が書いていたのはよかったですけど、じゃあ最初の映像はもっと客観的に書いた方がいいんじゃないですか？当時の状況とかも紹介したら良いですが、歴史的な客観的な情報がもっと欲しいです。

そして、日本はなんでポーランド人をポーランドに送ったんですか？逃げ出した人を食べさせて、また国に送った？そこももっと説明したほうが良いかと。歴史的に日本政府の立場話してなかったのは本当に残念でした。

This museum does include a lot of information, but the entire flow and organization really did not explain what really happened at the time of the events. I had so many questions when I was going around. Why did Japan took the orphans to Japan and fed them and sent them back to the country where they escaped? Why did Japan say no to Sugihara? So the information included was seriously less than what I can find from Wikipedia. Why? I felt the entire museum does not maintain an academic objective position which provides information people need to know and learn how to think critically. Why didn’t it mention that Japan treated Sugihara as betrayer and tried to erased his information from record? It only talks about how good Japan treated those refugees (really? with a lot of discrimination at that time towards the refugees shown inside of the museum) and did not mention how the people who made the right decisions got treated wrongly by the government. This museum really need to hire some professionals and provide more educational information and teach people how to learn from our own mistakes.
