I've been coming here for 15 to feed the friendly cats, walk the trails, and take in the sites. I live 30mins away in minami-tobaru, but I still drive out here three times a week or so to enjoy this place. Bring your camera because there are some cool overlooks where you can get some beautiful shots of the waves crashing against the cliffside. There are some great paths for walking so bring some comfortable shoes. If you are an animal lover then bring some leftovers or some cat food. When you get to the parking lot and get out of your car I suggest you make a loud "meow" sound a few times and watch the cats come to you. Walk 99 slightly steep stairs up to see the views. If you suffer from fear of heights or dizziness probably don't go up and enjoy the view from below.
Hold on to your hats and tie your long hair before you reach the top. No shelter from the sun at the top but beautiful views. Worth it!
