For some reason, there was a sign on the lifeguard tower that says snorkelling is prohibited.. maybe because of the low tide? Thus, my friend and me signed up for a snorkelling tour at the beach shop which would bring us out to sea. It was a bit expensive but fun, with lots of fishes crowding around us and our bread.

When we got back, we walked onto the brown wetland that was uncovered by the receded tide and found that it was teeming with life! There were crabs, hermits, tiny starfishes, etc. We even spotted a mantis shrimp, which tried to attack my friend’s camera with a loud crack. Take a walk on the wetlands on low tide - you’ll not regret it!
