For some reason, there was a sign on the lifeguard tower that says snorkelling is prohibited.. maybe because of the low tide? Thus, my friend and me signed up for a snorkelling tour at the beach shop which would bring us out to sea. It was a bit expensive but fun, with lots of fishes crowding around us and our bread.
When we got back, we walked onto the brown wetland that was uncovered by the receded tide and found that it was teeming with life! Read moreNot a great beach but not bad. Swimming area is about 4 feet at low tide, maybe 6 feet at high. Swimming area is small but protected with netting. No snorkeling allowed, no pets. Apparently if you have your own Umbrella there’s a designated area you have to use that is the furthest spots from the beach. They do have umbrella and beach chair rentals, as well as offers other amenities such as a water playground, restrooms/showers, snack bar, kayak and banana boat rides.
