THE HARBOR TERRACE — Attraction in Zushi

The HARBOR Terrace is a boutique hotel so only a few rooms. We booked a superior room with a sea view. (I think all the rooms have a sea view).|Our room was actually more like a little suite or apartment with a separate bedroom and living room with kitchenette and a huge bathroom. The views were next level and it was a joy to sit on our balcony at the start and end of the day.|The pool on the rooftop is lovely too - if you’re lucky you have views of Mount Fuji and if it’s too hazy you see it anyway as the sun sets behind it.|The hotel has a lovely bar area and restaurant. We had the 10 course tasting menu one night which was exceptional (although make sure you book as some nights they are very quiet and others fully booked) and be aware that the food service starts at 7 and the bar/restaurant closes at 9pm. This place is so beautiful that it feels like a dream. The views from the rooms are jaw droopingly stunning. If you want to feel totally transported and lulled by the sound of the waves into total bliss, then I highly recommend this enchanting hotel. 5 stars… absolutely spectacular and unforgettable. 👏 🫶💜☀️🌊

【THE HARBOR TERRACE @逗子市 小坪】

～Introduction～ 鎌倉の材木座海岸の南端に佇むバケーションホテル。 そんなホテルには湘南食材が織りなす創作フレンチ料理を堪能できるレストランが併設されています。

～location＆atmosphere～ 鎌倉方面から小坪海岸トンネルを入らずに右に曲がると現れるのは、まるで洋画に出てきそうなオーシャンフロントのお洒落なホテル。 2・3Fが客室、1Fがレストランとなっていて、海側は全面ガラス張りで材木座海岸が目の前に広がります。 その奥には江の島が、そして天気が良ければ富士山が眺められるという抜群のオーシャンビュー。 さらには夕暮れ時には素晴らしいサンセットビューとなります。 本当に素晴らしいレストランです。 （写真撮ろうとしたら雲が出てきたのがほんと残念です。）

～Food～ ◇ハーバーテラスコース◇ 新鮮な鎌倉野菜と地物の魚介類をふんだんに使った9〜11皿のシェフおまかせコースを。

◆豚のリエット　カカオ風味のシュー生地 カカオ風味のプチシュー生地に入っているのは豚のリエット。 リエットは軽い味わいで、意外にもカカオと合うものなんですね。

◆鯖のマリネ 下にはクスクス、トッピングされているのはフヌイユのサラダ。 鯖のマリネを嫁が絶賛。 同感ですし、フヌイユのシャキシャキした食感と独特の風味が鯖の美味しさを引き立ててますね。

◆『レインボーズファーム』さんの朝採れ鎌倉野菜 彩豊かな鎌倉野菜が実に美しい。 散らしてあるのはバルサミコと醤油のパウダーとのこと。 この鎌倉野菜が美しいだけじゃなく、めちゃくちゃ美味しい！ 味が濃いというか甘みが強いというか、とにかくこの野菜が本当に美味しくて食べ終わるのが惜しくなるほどでした。

◆パンプキンシードパン 逗子の人気ベーカリーの『パンプレッソ』のパンです。 パンプキンシードがよいアクセントの美味しいパンです。

◆白子のムニエル 表面香ばしく中とろっとした白子を焦がしバターソースで食べるのは反則級の美味しさ。 加えて、添えてある野菜がまた美味しくて美味しくて。

◆平目のヴァプール 蒸しあげられた平目の身がしっとりとして美味しいこと。 これに濃厚な白ワインソースがまた合いますね。

◆千葉県産牛のランプのロースト 断面全体が綺麗なピンク色になるように火入れされた牛ランプはナイフを入れるとしっとりした柔らかさ。 口に入れるとその柔らかい肉から旨みが溢れてきます。

◆生しらすの〆ごはん ミニミニサイズのごはんの登場。 生しらすの他に甘口醤油と生姜がかけられています。 実にシンプルなのに、これがめっちゃ美味しかったです。 醤油がイイ仕事してる感じでしたね。

◆苺のグラニテ 最初のデザート。 横須賀 嘉山農園の苺のグラニテとフロマージュブラン。 ここに液体窒素で瞬間冷凍したヨーグルトパウダーをシェフが目の前でかけてくれます。 苺の甘さとヨーグルトのほのかな酸味やフロマージュブランのコクが重なり合って納得の美味しさ。
