You can take Shinjuku Shonan Line from Shinjuku Station to come here (also there is direct train from Tokyo Station). From Zushi station, you can walk 15 minutes to get to Zushi beach and enjoy the day at the beach.
There are lots of shops nearby the station, including a Starbucks, McDonalds and sushi train. There is also a small convenience store next to the station and some lockers. I like it here specially during the summer festival season. There is also a bus stop in front of the station that will take you to the different beaches...
