Prestige Plaza on Ngong Road is, without a doubt, the best mall in the Kilimani area and a clear step ahead of both Junction Mall and Yaya Centre. What makes it stand out is not only the variety of stores but also the convenience of its location and accessibility. Unlike most malls, Prestige sits right by the road, making it extremely easy to get in and out without dealing with traffic snarl-ups, which is a huge advantage for shoppers who value their time.

The highlight here is the very huge Naivas Foodmarket, which is well-stocked with everything from fresh produce and groceries to household essentials and imported goods. It’s spacious, organized, and one of the best supermarkets in Nairobi. For dining, you can always count on Java House for great meals, coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. We went to this mall purposely to use the ATM machine and to fix a mobile phone screen. To our surprise all the ATM machines had been dismantled and no longer in service. A notice placed at the end of the corridor said (in my own words) that users to seek ATMs services in other outlets outside the Prestige mall. We then headed to the mobile phone shop still on ground floor. We noted two sister shops in the same business and each gave us a different price for the mobile phone screen. We opted for the shop with the cheaper price but they refused we get the screen at their price saying we had already enquired and had been given the price by the other sister shop. (Here, you are at no liberty to choose ) we found it strange. It was on a sunday and most places are not operational so we settled for the high price never to return. Generally the mall was a bit empty and quiet. We decided to go elsewhere...
