I discovered Souk el Tayeb when it was held in Saifi years ago. It then moved to Beirut Souks, and I almost became a regular. Homemade food, saj, nuts, cookies, soap, fresh juice, vegetables and fruits grown organically, and the list goes on. It's felt good to see them all in one place, with good quality products and friendly faces. The farmers market moved to Mar Mikhayel after the Beirut explosion, and it needs our support more than ever. It now has a community kitchen, restaurant and store, in addition to the weekly souk, all in this one place. Recommended!

Great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a glass of wine while strolling the open air market of Lebanese goods like honey, soap, bread, eggs, olives, sweets, etc., including fresh fruit and vegetables. Prices can be a little higher than the supermarket but the products are usually organic and sustainably grown. A wonderful way to support small businesses and entrepreneurs of Lebanon.

I loved the place... A true reflection of our lebanese society 😘😘 Some CSR projects are showing their products, like Green Environmental who are displaying recycled glass products, and "Step together" who are showing artisanal products to support the "Autism" cause. I had some local wines from Chateau Nabise (Free of Sulfites) and bought their Blanc de Blanc which i recommend it.

A farmers market in every sense of the word! Heavenly smells from the fresh man’oushe stalls and vibrant colors of fresh herbs, spices, pickles and jams straight from the farms in Lebanon’s mountains! The fresh fruit & vegetables section is incredible, too. The sellers were all so friendly and were happy to chat and take pics! Definitely a must-see.

I went there for the second time for their yearly "Souk El Kotob" (books market) where you can find used books at cheap prices, interesting upcoming and rare to find local magazines like Safar or Bidayat, and it's a great place to meet new people and communicate with the lovely Beirut community showing their goods on their stands.

Amazing place with excellent coffee, fresh foods, and truly straight from the farm foods that will send your tastebuds into a very happy place. I was only having a latte and some fresh squeezed orange juice which was amazing. Excellent organization that really blesses and cares for the community.
