We sat in the nonsmoking section which was lovely. They also provided a highchair for our son. The decor is a really nice mix of modern and homey elements. The service was good. Valet was 5000LL. We ordered a lot of items and tried most of their specialties so get ready...this is a long review! 😊 Bread - kinda hard! Loris fattouch - made with taratol...not fans of this one. Loris tabboule - very delicious! Light lemon flavor with a hint of sweetness. Flafel salad - reminded us of Cole slaw but a much lighter and fresher version the Flafel pieces were good. Hummus loris - came with little kibbeh balls in the center that were really great. It finished too fast we were tempted to order another one! Hummus - felt a bit too thick but it was good. Batenjen raheb - delicious! Light distinct flavor. Warak anab - I loved it, and husband thought it was sweet. Not your typical grape leaves but I enjoyed it. Moutabal Loris - beautiful artistic presentation and great flavor! Highly recommend. Moussaka - we've had Moussaka in Greece and this was like a deconstructed Moussaka. Others at the table liked it but I didn't. I felt it was too heavy on the tomatoes. Manti sujuk - Manti were very hard. Not something I would order again. Batata - really really great French fries! Batata harra - great smoky flavor, very crispy. Definitely recommend. Mixed grill family platter - it was average- the chicken was OK, not too flavorful but soft. The meat was cooked very well. Baklava ice cream - delicious vanilla bean ice cream in between layers of flaky dough and pistachio. Delicious!

Finally, a Lebanese restaurant that awakened my taste buds! Since I began writing about my experiences at established and also more recently opened restaurants, I have been craving really good Lebanese cuisine—I left Loris satisfied. The service and the ambiance were pleasant, but a more important topic to be discussed is the food. I loved the fresh out of the oven hot bread that was served at the beginning. Their Fattouch is zesty and their Hommos is creamy. The Rkakat bi jibne had tasty melted cheese enclosed in the crispy shell, and their mini Kebbe are delicious bites filled with flavor. Their Kebab Bil Karaz is a great dish with a twist, yet it was their Lahmeh Ras Asfour Debs Rimmein that was to die for! It is the best Ras Asfour platter I have had to date; the sauce was perfectly balanced, and the meat was so tender akin to biting into a succulent piece of steak. As for the Mixed Grill Platter, the chicken was seasoned with a nice blend of spices, and the chicken, meat, and kafta were juicy and moist. For dessert, I wanted to taste the Em Ali but unfortunately it was unavailable. However, I forgot all about that when I tasted the Maamoul Bil Jibne and felt the delicate crumble fall apart underneath my teeth to reveal the softness of the cheese inside. We left Loris on a sweet note, knowing we would be returning to try more of their creations.

Ok, let me tell you something. If you want food to take you to heaven, you absolutely have to come to this place! The hospitality, ambiance, coziness, cleanliness, wow! The speed of the service, I mean come on! So, so, so incredible! Let me tell you, I come from Serbia and I dare to say that the service I'm receiving in Lebanon is unparalleled! And now, the food. I mean check out the pictures to begin with! You can easily tell that everything's been made with utmost dedication and devotion! Everything was so perfectly fresh and of top quality! The meat, lamb, potatoes, and all the perfect Lebanese, Armenian and Syrian dishes, just topped all my expectations. I've been told I would love this place. What I didn't know is that it would be love at first sight! Afterwards I had to tell the manager that the whole experience I had there was superb and that I will be recommending Loris for sure! Don't hesitate, just come!

Walked in, place had few tables occupied. Nice seating area, good air-conditioning. The waiters are lazy, always chit-chatting in corners. The food is bland and not as expected. The place is extremely overhyped with the reviews and top 10 to visit in Lebanon. I doubt it makes it to the top 50, to say the least. The kebbe is a joke, tasteless, cheap meat used, dry and not cooked properly, the rest is normal. I would not repeat my visit. What made me mad is the balance was 26$ from the amount i paid and the balance took more than 10minutes to come back with the cheque, after multiple follow-ups with the waiters, as if they getting the change from the bank or something. I advise you to skip this and dont believe the reviews posted on here.

Delicious food in a beautiful setting and very good service. You simply can't ask for more. Loris isn't just a restaurant i like going to, it's also where I would take my foreign friends when they visit Lebanon. It serves both lebanese and armenian plates, and i haven't tasted anything at Loris that isn't delicious. The portions are generous compared to similar restaurants, and the prices are affordable. Another bonus as well is that there terrace doesn't smell arguile. So if you're a non-smoker but you sit there with smoking friends, you don't feel it since it's well ventilated. My favorites there: hummus, wara' enab, batata harra, grilled rkakat, manti, and cheese maamoul is a must.
