This cathedral is a really nice spot in Beirut. It’s got a unique look with its Roman inspired architecture, which makes it stand out. The place has a lot of history, having been built in 1860 and then rebuilt in 1950. It even got damaged during the Lebanese Civil War but has been beautifully restored since then. Inside, it’s pretty peaceful with plain white walls and a nice altar. It’s not overly ornate, but that’s part of its charm. The cathedral is a significant cultural landmark for the Armenian community, and you can feel the sense of history and resilience when you’re there. It’s located in Debbas Square, so it’s easy to get to and a good starting point if you’re exploring downtown Beirut. Definitely...
