firstly i must say that the food and atmosphere was great. however there was one thing that was very unfortunate. as the food was way too much, i asked the staff twice (two different waiters) to please make sure to pack everything that it left over so that no food will go wasted. despite that fact that we barely touched the main course and there was so much mezze left over for 8 people , in the end i received two tiny boxes with a bit of meat inside. this is very unfortunate and wasteful as i made it more than clear that we are very concerned with food waste! i hope next time the staff will be more aware!

It’s so disappointing to see one of the best restaurants in Beirut transforming into a mediocre one like most of the restaurants in town. Abdel Wahab used to have its glory with tasty and fresh cuisine and impeccable service. We visited the restaurant few days ago, the staff was not professional at all, several ones circulating around our table, one was coughing all the time behind me without using any mask or tissue. The food was not tasty, the salad was not fresh and the hygiene was horrible. We had to return a plate. I have to admit that the manager was nice and offered us desserts.
