Zaatar W Zeit — Restaurant in Achrafieh

Maybe mu rating is probably harsh on ZWZ generally, but maybe that way ZWZ would maybe reconsider some of the things i will be talking about.

Dont get me wrong, the food there is clean, and the service is nice in most of the branches, however i will never understand how people should be paying this much money for pita bread with toppings.

Forgive me ZWZ but i think you re ripping people s wallets comparing to what you are serving. The amount i pay at your restaurant will buy me nice meals in a lot of good chains in the country, and I wouldn’t be getting some zaatar manouche or some small chicken wrap.

After saying that, in would like to say that going there for an early breakfast would be nice, also their food is kind of tasty and some of their dishes are famous.

ZWZ is famous for their kafta wrap, spicy chicken, and their boom burgers were trending.

My opinion and advice to people would be to actually go and encourage smaller lebanese bakeries as well as other authentic lebanese restaurants that serve lebanese breakfasts instead fo going to ZWZ and throwing money to this giant chain...

Since when did zaatar w zeit turn into a pub? The music was ridiculously loud, and stayed this way even after asking them to lower the volume.

The place was extremely crowded the waiters had to climb the stairs and pass us the plates over the other customers table. #hire_more_staff

We didnt get empty plates to share our food, we were handed forks without knifes and the food got cold before we received the proper cutlery. The fries arrived cold to the table, and excuse me for asking but is the coleslaw suppose to taste like rotten food?!

It was almost impossible to communicate properly with the so busy waiters and over the very unreasonable loud music.

After all this we couldnt wait forever for the bill at our table, so we paid at the door and got out.

I experienced the worse customer service ever with this restaurant. I used to visit every day, sometimes more than once. Still, in my experience, the staff lacked courtesy and was downright disrespectful. I decided not to visit again. At first I was sad. I loved the restaurant as this was my go to place to eat and hang out with friends. Then I was contacted by the customer service which caused me to decide to stay away for good. The surprise was that staying away from dough helped me shed 15 kgs.
