Everything is awesome 🤩 … Totally Amazing waittime with a lot of other LEGO FANs - visiting the 2nd time writing this! Big G-0-G-L is watchin my reviev wohoo… 🎉 Our family loves LEGO. Entry for 2 parents + 2 kids with discount vouchers from the german lego catalog (available in german retail stores) gave us free entry for the kids when there is one full paying adult. Prices vary depending on the day you plan to visit LEGOLAND GERMANY in Günzburg near Munich (round about 1.30 hour from Munich by car) - We payed 134€ with parking included. See the image below for details. The parc opens at 10.00 am and closes at 18.00 pm. Which gives you 8 hours of „FUN“… This was a day before a bank holiday and the weather was sunny. The amount of people visiting the parc resulted in waiting time of 30-60 minutes for each ride or attraction. Which is really awesome 🙌🏻 for a 3 minute ride… totally fun with kids. The restaurants and kiosks were also very popular and the shops like minifigure studio, outlet store and the Lego Fabrik had so many happy sweating people all super happy with extremely comfortable warm temperatures inside. We spend more time in the shops as the fun in front of the rides were funny but not that much… and bought a lot of sets and bricks and some custom minifigures. This was really nice value. They have a lot of bricks to choose from. Why i would absolutely recommend you to visit Legoland. Entry price relatively awesome high and a lot of LEGO FANs with you together spending time here. You find some exclusive sets here which you can also get at the 3 official Lego Stores in Munich. But there are also some Legoland exclusive sets! Only available here… have a look. Brick price in the outlet 6,50€ for 100g and in the Lego Fabrik 9,90 for 100g - We compared the amount to a large pic a brick cup we bought 2 days before in the Lego Store Munich… the pic a brick from the store had more stones in it just for reference. The Lego Fabrick has a lot of different bricks and animals and lego pieces to offer, but not all pieces. We missed water stones for example. Overall i would say… If you want Lego Sets or Stones… visit local retail stores, or the official LEGO Stores and use pic a brick to get the stones you need or use Bricklink. There should be a limit to the visitors and the waiting times for the rides have to be reduced. This would improve the experience and be even more awesome. This was our 2nd visit.

If you have kid who loves Lego or not, this place is a must visit!! It’s a proper 2 days holiday to cover all the rides (may not be enough for some). Please note all rides have height restrictions- minimum requirement varies from 100 to 130cm. Those fun and fast rides require 110cm as minimum. So check the website for the minimum height requirements for individual rides. And this is strictly followed due to safety and security reasons. My personal recommendation is wait until your kid is min 120cm :) We visited here March last week 2024 just before the Easter holidays. It was for 2 nights and booked a family room in Kings Castle. We got lucky weather was amazing!! We didn’t have our own car so, we visited here using public transportation end to end. Günzburg is the nearest train station. There’s direct buses from station to legoland park then to holiday village (hotel, villas etc). Time table completely varies, it’s either every 30min or 1hr interval (maybe 2hr during the lunch hour). This is applicable in either direction. Here’s how we managed our travel- we reached Günzburg by train around 11:00 and there was bus. We reached there and did complete our check in process just at the entrance. And you can drop your luggage at the check in counter. They delivered directly to the reception building at the holiday village. This made whole process easier. We directly entered the park and enjoyed our rides until 5:30pm and directly headed to holiday village. This was about 10-15min walk. We found out where the reception building was and collected our luggage and brought it ourselves to kings castle where my room was booked. Breakfast was amazing at this hotel. There are dinner buffet was available within the village and we had reservations done whilst booking rooms. We booked Pirate and duschland, first was fantastic and other one was ok-ok sorts. After checking out, we returned to Günzburg train stations there are bus services 30min to 1hr intervals until 12:22pm, then it starts from 14:00ish again. (During the winter there are limited options, it appears that typically from March mid frequency gets increased). LEGO Land park is baby stroller/pram friendly.

A nice park for younger children, given the mix of the rides and what smaller children can go on. However, compared with other amusement parks, the park has numerous failings. There is next to no shade in the park, meaning that on a sunny day you are excessively exposed to the sun. Sun block cream only does so much - why they cannot add more trees like other parks do is beyond me. They could especially arrange for more shade protection in their long and slow queues. Queues are enormous here. We came on presumably a quiet weekday at the end of April. This is owing perhaps to too many people in the park, or the fact that each ride has a very slow and torturous turn-around. I've never seen a park operate so slowly. Queue times are fictionally determined, and were inaccurate compared to other parks I've visited. A 20 minute queue is going to be 40 minutes. A 40 minute queue is probably going to be more like an hour and a half. Fortunately some rides have some excellent turn-around, such as the "LEGO NINJAGO The Ride" or the "Temple X-pedition" to make up for all these queue problems. The rides break down an awful lot. For the two days we were in the park, we had to abandon queues several times due to to technical problems. Given the length of the queue times, this really stings. They clearly sell too many express passes, as there are often times where the queues never move forwards for more than 15 minutes because of a backlog of wealthy people taking priority. They don't seem to mix regular visits with express pass visitors, so it really is a pay-to-play system - the more you pay, the better access to the park you get. If you don't pay for the express passes, expect most of your time to be consumed with queuing. This leads to a painful experience unless you're rich. Staff are a mixed bag. It feels like the majority of them are here to suck the fun out of the park. While there are some stand-out staff members who are smiling and happy, the majority seem to thoroughly hate their job. Some of them are downright rude, including one that randomly told me I'm too fat for a woman and I need to lose weight. Wonderful. Food choices are good in the park, with mixed prices from moderate to outrageous, but it would be possible to picnic in the park if you wanted to. There is however little seating available, and quite a lot of the seating is again totally exposed to direct sunlight. The kids enjoyed the park, but struggled with the queues which in some cases were more than an hour. In two full days, it was not possible to see everything, so you either need to buy express passes or you need to stay for more than two days. How LEGO signed off on this park is beyond me, and honestly it's made me change my mind about the brand. That element of fun and exploration that the LEGO brand has promised for decades has been chewed up and spat out as an amusement park. What a disappointment.
