We stayed here during the Easter holidays and it was really lovely. We had a room in the castle and we could see the park from our room. The kids enjoyed having their own little room in the front. The room was clean and so was the bathroom. The shower is with a rain shower and they provide soap, but not conditioner, so bring your own if that’s important to you. ||The whole village is really super for families, with playgrounds everywhere, mini golf (for an extra fee) and a high ropes course (also with a fee). ||We had breakfast in the castle restaurant and dinners at the Jungle Buffet. I would say breakfast is pretty good, sometimes a little chaotic with so many people, but they do a good job of keeping things orderly. Also at the Jungle Buffet, we liked that the drinks are included and there was fairly okay variety for food options. ||Some small details are a bit missing - for example the “treasure hunt” resulted in the wrong code, and this was not user error. The hunt was likely referencing a different Lego display than what was in the lobby. The towels could definitely use a little refresh, but they are still okay. At many other theme parks, when you stay at the associated hotel, you also get early entry into the park. This is not the case at LEGOLAND Germany. ||All in all, I would most definitely recommend the LEGOLAND resort for families with...

We stayed in the so-called “Knights Room,” which was nothing more than a tiny, outdated, and dirty space. The bathroom trash was full when we arrived, the air conditioner didn’t work (only ventilation), and the room felt stuck in the 1980s. No complimentary water bottle in the minibar, old worn-out towels, and a broken TV made the stay even worse. Everything about the room felt neglected and unwelcoming.
The real disaster, however, was the dining experience. At the steakhouse, the meat tasted like shoe leather—completely inedible. To make matters worse, despite notifying the hotel in advance that we were coming with a child who has celiac disease, there was nothing safe for her to eat at the buffet. The staff showed zero consideration, leaving my daughter without dinner.
Service was equally appalling. At the restaurant entrances, staff were rude and unhelpful. The hotel insists on strict dining time slots—if you’re late, even for a reasonable reason like a sleeping toddler, you’re simply left hungry. This inflexible and inconsiderate policy is unacceptable, especially for a hotel that claims to be “family-friendly.”
Overall, the service was disgraceful, the facilities outdated, and the complete lack of care for children with dietary restrictions was shocking. We will never return...
Read moreThe location is about 10min and a bit up the hill from the park, it can be a bit exhausting for small kids after a long park tour to get there.
The service is surprisingly bad overall: almost everyone we interacted with seemed like they don't care at all about our questions or problems. We got the keys at 10:00 and heard that check-in at 15:30 and arrived at 17:00, tried to go to our room only to get told by the cleaning lady there the room was not prepared. She just said that and went on her way, some other lady said it will be 30mins more. I insisted to call someone who can fix it and a guy came and just said "Sorry" and that "the reception doesn't listen to him" and that "I should talk to someone" (this was literally "the boss"), everyone trying to explain WHY it happened that we can't access our room but just left us sitting with exhausted and sweat drenched kids alone in the empty lobby. Only after about 30mins some other guy came and gave us a different room. Service is the literal definition of I don't care, not my problem, go talk to the next guy.
Other than that, clean, nice decor, very good...
