What an amazing trip this was for me to see the remains of this ancient castle. My friend’s cousin apparently has a section of the castle as part of his home under some unique circumstances. It is still amazing to see such a structure semi intact and the history it represents. If you make it to Luxembourg, you’ve got to head here and check it out. Also nearby is the home of actress Vicky Krieps from the movie the Phantom Thread.

CHÂTEAU D'HESPERANGE. LUXEMBURGO. 867-868. Solo quedan Ruinas Romanas de la Gran Fortaleza construida en 1190 que sirvió de defensa de la comuna. Con los años, el mínimo de mantenimiento y las guerras quedó destruido dejando atrás su Pasado Medieval. Aquí se celebra en recordación las Fiestas Medievales de la Comuna. En 1798 se vendieron las Parcelas del Castillo y se construyeron Casa Intramuros y en 1984 fue Declarado en su Inventario...

Le terme "château" est peut être un grand mot. Il s'agit d'une ruine de château qui surplombe la ville d'hesperange, non loin de la capitale, Luxembourg Ville. La ruine est visible d'assez loin, située sur une colline, mais dans les faits, elle n'est pas vraiment visitable. Ne vous attendez donc pas à un château fort dont vous pourrez faire la visite pendant...
