A beautiful view of the coastline and sparkling shores of our town, Miri. There's a reason why our town is listed as Bandaraya Peranginan, the potential Miri has is undeniable with its beauty and natural resources. Visitors can visit this using the middle lift (bomba lift) if you want to directly go up to Level 10. In my case, I used a different lift that only carried me to Level 9 which I believe is the Mayor's office. I had to take the staircase to walk up one more level to reach the rooftop.
When I reached the rooftop, the view was amazing. The sunset was definitely having a golden hour. The best thing is that this is free to visit as well. I hope that MCC will continue to improve Miri as a smarter and greener city, and my suggestion for the rooftop is to have some seating arrangement as well so that we can sit and lounge while enjoying the view. Read morePleasantly surprised to learn of such a place that is free to enter, even on weekends. Council staff in charge of registration was informative. Facilities were basic, and the place just serves exclusively as a viewpoint and nothing else. No other information about the city for visitors to learn - it would be interesting to read on the city planning aspect of Miri. Parking can be hard to find as the council parking lot isn't open to public.
Overall, come here to get an idea of the layout of Miri, and admire the coastline and sparkling waters...
