The Safest and Best recreational area in Kota Kinabalu.
One of it’s main attraction is the beautiful colourful synchronised melody water-fountain in the middle of the lake which start at 7pm local time.
At night, the place is very bright and mesmerising with the fountain dance. Cool place.
Huge parking space and the Entrance with car will cost you RM1. If u want the receipt, u may ask for it.
Amenities: well maintain. Toilet: cost you RM1. However, no other amenities like shower or gym room.
Great playground for kids. Well taken care of.
3 tracks for jogging Outer (near to fence asphalt track) Middle (the red and rubberised asphalt track) Inner coarse cement track (next too the lake )
It is safe for single runner to come and jog at night.
A couple of shops open here too.

We visited Perdana Park with the promise of beautiful fountains, and boy, it didn't disappoint.
Located just a 4 minutes drive from Tanjung Aru beach, we found this place while Googling for a place to go after the beach.
So we found dinner next to the beach and drove over.
Parking was a cheap RM 1.
When we came, the fountain just started its performance. Together with the water, was music and lighting. It was all synchronised beautifully.
At times, it felt that certain water streams were engineered to produce a clapping effect, while the rest provided a visual effect.
It was mesmerising and soothing.
However, it has a downside a damaged fountain that didn't work :(
