Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Center Johor Bahru — Attraction in Johor

Offers various activity space to keep us active and occupy. Rock climbing, skatepark, picnic area, playgrounds, hipster f&b outlets, jogging track, bicycle and skooter rental, florist, handicrafts kiosks, canopy walk, parkour space and sometimes there are small events held here selling flowers, foods and more.

Parking is free but can be very hard to find during peak hours.

TMIYC is like an extension of our previous 'Hutan Bandar'. You can easily access both from the same entrance by walking (enter from TMIYC or 'Hutan Bandar'). However, I personally think that TMIYC is more lively and merrier since we can hangout here until night time.

Good place to have a calm break from the hectic...

TMIYC, all in one spot for family recreation. During the day, family with kids able to play at the playground, skatepark for skateboarding,rollerblade. There is also wall climbing for all ages. Bicycle rental and skateboard rental are also available for cycling around and skateboarding. Cafe and restaurant are also open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The famous Wak Kentut branch is open here as well. Parking space is almost full during peak time, it FREE. There is also Canopy Walk for light cardio. I will definately come again here with the family to complete the incomplete visit for other attraction...

Much more enjoyable to go to since its not that well known yet compared to taman merdeka.

The park is somehow connected to Hutan Bandar which makes it seem like its a bigger place.. Girls should be wary if they come here alone since there are some secluded places that not many walk by.

The place includes skateboard ramps and a wall climbing area (which I don't recommend since there were no safety gears or even a mat on the floor in case anyone falls which is hazardous).

With the variety of cafés, it would be a great place for a relaxing...
