Origami Park — Attraction in Kajang Municipal Council

Love it here! To a dog owner this park is a rare treasure within our Cheras-Kajang neighbourhood. I wish all parks were dog friendly but we are in Malaysia. It's a nice clean dog park.. There is a fenced area where your fur babies can run around and play off leash and a simple agility course. There are dog trash areas where you can clean after your pup. Friendly pet owners here. Please do clean up after your dogs :)

There is a nice lake, and jogging track. There is exercise equipment and a small playground. The signature origami bird stands tall and is such a great sight when the sun sets. Across origami is the club house I see people jogging and walking...

It’s no longer well-maintained as the track along the lake is closed for maintenance (seems like the sign has been there for a long time). Some parts of the lake trail is still accessible if u walk, but not so if u have a wheelchair or stroller. The lake is smelly and water is still hence attracting lots of mosquitoes.

Easy walk around mini lakes. Great for kids and seniors, with lots of shade and sun, and some up and down trail. Nice benches to rest. Mini trampoline. Mini work out area for kids. Mini dog obstacles play pen. There’s a mini stream and lots of birds and dragonflies. Saw terrapin in the water. Lots of Pandan leaves! Not sure if anyone harvests them but they look cut.

What a wonderful surprise for Kajang....
