The place shares its boundaries with Tugu Negara (war memorial) and The Botanical Garden. We expected much different before going there but we saw a small beautiful garden with a lush green grass lawn (played with my kid for a long time). But very limited sculptures and nothing extra ordinary. It was a surreal experience to visit the war memorial. Even though as foreigners, we don’t know much about the Malaysian history, we found the place to be very peaceful. It’s always nice to see such green spots within the city and this is what I love about Kuala Lumpur! We will keep visiting this place often (for the nice green lawn) and if we visit the Botanical garden, it takes just about 7 mins to walk over.
