Lucky to visit this back in Jan before the whole world went mad. The Hibiscus Garden is a part of the Perdana Botanical Garden, located about the centre of the park and judging from my complaining legs, close to being the highest point of the park. I walked up from the Jalan Tembusu entrance is it wasn’t that bad. The Hibiscus Garden is a landscaped garden and named after the predominant flower grown. There were enough flowers in bloom for the views to be worth the walk, although the garden wasn’t exactly blooming in full. Would be nice to revisit when that happens. There’s several covered walkways, paths and fountains dotted around the garden, but sadly none of the latter were in operation. This garden is a bit of a climb, but you can always use the paid for transport to visit this and the rest of the park.

Recommended to come in the morning when there are more hibiscus opened. They close up in the evening / drop. The gallery was locked when I came on Sunday late afternoon but the Hibiscus Garden has a security guard at entrance and he is very friendly + helpful to point out all of the hibiscus in the garden. Quiet place compared to other parts of Botanical Gardens. This area is free entrance!

The garden is run down and not maintained. You can imagine how beautiful the place is if everything is well taken care of. You can count the number of hibiscus there. Seriously not many. This garden seriously needs uplifting.

This place could be awesome with better maintenance. Most of the lake gardens are beautiful i wonder why this place is over looked. All the hibiscus bushes could do with a good pruning.

Such a shame as there some beautiful varietys but it looks so messy.

Just an edit, this place has been closed from the first MCO so Im hoping that they are actually sprucing up the place....
