GRILLED SQUID & TAMARIND SAUCE FOR BRUNCH Tamarind juice is a thirst-quencher. I don't mind tamarind prepared any other way especially since it accompanies grilled squid.Thick and zesty.Mmm...The bits of fresh tomatoes and onions are perfect to pick up with the squid.I rarely eat anything grilled because the caregeenan from the black things are toxic.Never fear eating here.This is my second time. The squid is nicely grilled and no black bits. (The cooks seem to be informed about food beyond cooking.Being close to a health clinic, helps too.) On-lookers have remarked that I must be having a special occasion.The last time it was RM20 but today it's RM2 less. Grilled squids at this time of the morning is rare to find.I just hope I will get it next time.In the meantime,it's perfect with my nasi lemak. Beware of waiting time more than 40 minutes for this yee mee kungfu.

Yee Mee Kungfu: Saw earlier review about them serving yee mee kungfu after 40 minutes. Ours, order placed at 10am & we was not been told we need to wait almost an hour for this yee mee kungfu! after few times asking, eventually around 1045am this yee mee kungfu arrived. It was served warm & tasteless, as if eating keropok mee with thick tasteless gravy! First time trying this, hence this shall be our last time coming back to this store! Habis our plan for that afternoon delay bcz of our time was wasted due to waited for them to serve this yee mee kungfu!

Absolutely delicious mee kari. I like mine with wantan mee. The wantan mee kicap is pretty good but not as good as the mee kari imo. However, I had to rate this place -2 stars because of the lousy non existent system they lack of. The waiters and waitresses will ask for your order but will always forget them. The waiting time for the food to arrive takes some time too. Expect a 30min or more wait if you come in 3 pax or more. We usually come here mornings during weekends. The other -1 star is because of the table and chair setting. If you’re new here and you sit around the back you might feel disgusted.
