My recent visit to the National Science Centre was filled with interactive activities that captivated both myself and my son. Upon entering, we were greeted by a stunning large aquarium teeming with colorful fish, which left us amazed. The center boasts ample space for children to engage in play, providing a welcoming environment for families. We were particularly excited to explore the dinosaurs exhibition, but were disappointed to learn that it had already closed. However, the range of other interactive activities more than made up for this setback. One downside was the relatively small baby room/nursery area. During my visit, I encountered a male guard occupying the space, which was unexpected and slightly inconvenient. Additionally, other guards were frequently entering and exiting the area to access the water dispenser, detracting from the privacy and comfort of the space. Furthermore, the absence of a café on-site was disappointing. While food trucks were available, they did not provide the level of comfort I desired for dining and relaxing with my baby. Overall, despite these minor drawbacks, our experience at the National Science Centre was enjoyable and educational. I would recommend it to families seeking interactive learning experiences, although improvements in the nursery facilities and dining options could enhance the visitor experience.

Went on a school holiday. Arrived there around 1150pm.there were many people. Stood in line for 15 minutes. Bought tickets for general admission and dinosaur explore. Wanted to buy the XR tickets but it was sold out. 800 tickets per day. If you want to try the virtual reality, you need to come early. There are many Science experiments (biology , chemistry, physics) for kids to explore and play. Suitable for children aged 10 and above. Younger kids would just play and don't understand the Science elements but it's OK still fun for them to explore. The dinosaur explore is very simple. There's a video at the start of the tour introducing some dinosaurs. Then, you go in the hall with some dinosaur animatronics. Maybe around 7 to 10? Lighting is not that bright and some flashing light so trigger warning to those with sensitive eyes. My family and I spent around 2 hours and 30 minutes exploring the building. We didn't go to the waterpark as there were already many kids playing. The butterfly house doesn't have many butterflies. Parking is difficult. The parking space small. If you're late, you will need to park at the of the road. In order to get up, there's a overhead bridge with tall stairs. If you're using a stroller, you need to carry it. Good place to spend with your family! Have fun😊👍

Went on Thursday 12pm. Just a right time since 2 kindergartens trips ready to left so less crowd inside. No waiting time during purchasing tickets, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Rm3 for warga emas and kids age 6 above, rm6 for adult and free for kids less than 6. Extra rm12 n 15 for dinosaur encounter. The place was huge and so many things to explore, even toddler space also available. Sure there's some malfunction but overall worth it and everyone enjoy the place. Surau available inside and the toilet was clean, good job. The space for dinosaur encounter are quite smaller than expected but very neat and has a great panorama. They also limit the number of visitors inside so it's not crowded and able to enjoy every part completely. If u don't want to get into Dino encounter also fine since the pusat sains itself already worth with the ticket price (soooo cheap). Cafe available next to pusat sains and the price is acceptable. The swimming pool is very far down from the pusat sains, not suitable for elderly to get down. The kids enjoy the swimming pool (very shallow) but the toilet very dirty and smelly. Hope they can improve and maintain the toilet near the pool. Overall, enjoyable because it's not crowded!

We recently visited, looking forward to an educational science experience. The exterior was very impressive, with a beautiful rainbow-colored dome roof that added to the excitement. Tickets were RM6 for adults, and the center closes at 5pm. Upon entering, we enjoyed the aquarium area, where we could observe fish swimming above us through a glass bridge. Inside, the exhibitions covered basic science topics, like natural phenomena, anatomy, radiation principles and so on. However, some equipment was outdated, and a few displays weren’t functioning. Overall, the exhibits seemed better suited for younger visitors as an introduction to science, while for us as adults, they were less engaging. Since we arrived a bit late, we only explored the main science exhibition and missed several other areas, such as the Pocket Garden, Herbs Garden, Pre-Historic Garden and more. If you’re planning a visit, it’s best to arrive early to fully explore these different zones. In summary, it was a decent experience, especially for families with kids. We hope that with some maintenance, the center could offer an even better experience in the future.

1. Tempat ni cuma friendly and easy access to school tour/bus because only them can park inside the area of Pusat Sains Negara (PNS) [siap depan pintu PNS lg ye]. I was told to park at the opposite building (then have to walk across using jejantas and up the hill to PNS. Regardless you are pregnant, struggling with strollers.. orang tua with tongkat… you have to walk 😂 2. Certain area over the pedestrian walk, you kne angkat your stroller sbb takde ramp. So.. yeah. Struggling pregnant mother like me… with two toddlers… mmg suffer sgt just to get there. 3. Oblivious staff either dekat counter atau pintu masuk including the clown bg balloon. Terus bg instruction utk proceed though you tgh struggle dgn anak or berpeluh2 lepas mendaki bukit utk masuk. Clown pulak… tak mesra kids and deals with kids (less than 5 years old) mcm…. Deals with adult. 4. Takde flow inside the building. So… with so many people, you’ll get confuse. Lacked of signage that you have to ask around just to go out. 5. If you are pregnant, struggling mother alone handling kids, OKU or maybe too old to walk, not advisable to come here.

[April 2023] They are having ticket Rahmah until 30th Jun. Rm3 for adults, Rm2 for kids. But you have to top up additional for dinosaur zone and obskuraXR. The crowd is massive with this promo. And the staff will take your order sheet within queue. Then you queue to pay at the ticketing counter. You are required to park across the road and walk across the pedestrian bridge. Later walk uphill to the science center. You will pass by the garden nature whereby they have butterflies release activities on every Wednesday. Parking might be full and it could extended to roadside parking upon weekends. No drinks and foods allowed in it. And many lockers are opposite ticket counter. Some of the science interactive setup are under maintenance and rundown. But general experience is quite fun. It could be a little boring and exhausted for long hours tour. Remember to keep sanitising your hands and wear mask since many people are touching it. Sanitisers are not very visible and have too unpleasant odor.
