Taman Tasik Seremban is located within the city of Seremban Negeri Sembilan. Around this lake there are several government organizations such as the Negeri Sembilan Education Department, Negeri Sembilan Islamic Religious Council and others. Parking is available in several places but not enough especially on weekends and public holidays. This causes some visitors to park their vehicles on the shoulder of the road and in inappropriate places. Free public toilets are also provided under the management of the Seremban City Council. The condition of the toilet is quite deplorable. Interesting paid activities in the lake are also available such as canoeing and the like. The hilly track around the lake for about 2KM is also very suitable for visitors who like jogging. Restaurants under the supervision of the Seremban City Council also provide a variety of...
Read moreThis local public park is totally serene, and beautiful. It's plonked in the middle of Seremban, with a large man-made lake and a fountain that attracts visitors seeking some shade and peace from the city (noises). 😁 The locals go there to jog or meet friends, with a running or jogging track around the lake spanning a kilometre or more. Fruit trees abound, nangka, mangga, date or kurma, rambutan, jambu... But no one's pinching them unlike in say, parts of Jakarta! So you can expect to see lots of squirrels, both the ground and tree squirrels. Fish abound in the Taman Tasek, just don't get caught fishing! Many do fish but that's another story!😉 In all, a highly recommended place to chill if you're looking for a place to just relax your mind and soul. Oh yeah, there's an A & W outlet at one end of...
Read moreAn old city park. Would be amazing with more maintenance and a vision. Would really help if the intended water flow systems were operational. Needs a cleanup since there is a bunch of trash that can be spotted on the lake surface. That fault is on its users though, please don't litter!
Might help with the aesthetics if ducks and carps were introduced to the lake.
A few public water fountains would be great. Would suggest to allocate a few spots around the parking areas for small food stalls.
The park is a favourite spot for wedding photography. Would be great if there were some crafted locations for photographers. Perhaps some artwork and sculptures by local artists?
To help with joggers, perhaps distance markers and a Joggers map at certain intervals...
