328 Rainbow Stairways @ Durian Orchard — Attraction in Penang

Start from this point here. In less than an hour, can already reach the rainbow stairs. The hiking route is suitable for beginner. Plenty of break point here where you can sit and rest. After you reach at one point, you can see a view of Bukit Mertajam city and if it not hazy, it is possible to see penang bridge from here! (Refer my photo) Up until you see a junction, there is a sign written 328. If you want to go and see the rainbow stairs, you can go straight follow the 328 sign. If you turn right, im not sure where it heads to. Maybe puncak bukit tok kun.

Nice place to heal yourself. Go out and see nature. But please, keep our forest clean and don't make rubbish. Sorry if my english are bad. But i don't care as long as you can...

Great place for hiking as a beginner. Less than 1 hour hike to reach the colourful 328 stairs. Moderate level hike. Very calming and peaceful nature. Pathway is quite small but clear and clean.

There’s two option to reach the top, either by the colourful stairs or by the hiking path.

Lots of fruit trees especially durians, rambutan, mangosteens and nutmeg. Be careful for the falling of durians.

Few dogs at the top but worry not they do not bite or trouble at all. Friendly dogs.

Beautiful view of Bukit Mertajam from the top. The penang bridge is visible too if it’s not hazy.

The 🌈 Stairways starts after hiking at 230m elevation, hike path is slightly steep from base to 230m elevation point, however there's lot of resting bench along the way and the path is lighted with lamp post at evening as well, the hiking path is concrete and very steep at some point so it will be slightly challenging when descending the hike, the rainbow 🌈 Stairways is located at a Durian Orchard with beautiful scenery and viewpoints, believe the top point at the rainbow 🌈 Stairways is at...
