A great place for supper with a variety of options, including prawn mee, jawa mee, char kueh teow, curry mee, and many more. Whatever your cravings may be, this place has got you covered with its impressive variety of options. Highly recommended is the Ah Meng char kueh kak, but be prepared for a long queue. Other foods that we tried, but tasted mediocre, were fried oyster, char kueh teow, and fish bihun soup. For a refreshing treat, we liked the soya milk and bean curb from Lau Yau. The recent renovation has transformed the ambiance into a clean and spacious setting, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Was here for breakfast. The Penang Curry Mee (RM6) was superb. Flavourful & nice. Now you see it, now you don't. 5/5 Saw many tables order whitish, Hakka mee. But, the locals say it is their Wantan Mee. Couldn't resist trying. Order 1 bowl (RM6). Taste wise, very light. Noodles were geat, nice soft but firm texture. The 2 PCs of wantan are some small, like 5 cents coin size. Definitely prefer Hakka mee elsewhere. So, only 3/5. The iced coffee (RM3) was superb. 5/5 In the morning, about 10am, despite cooling breeze from the big industrial fan, I still sweat as I eat. Luckily it was the morning.

Came here for an early dinner. Revisiting this place for the Penang authentic popiah or also known as spring roll. Had their fried and dry version. Both are such a delight! And paired my meal with a cold amberella drink during hot day - perfect combo! P/S: I got to know that the popiah stall starts selling as early as around 3:30pm and until 9pm. Highly recommend their popiah! :) Also, I had the chance to try the Penang black coffee while i was there too. Such aromatic coffee flavour.

Saturday 930am Place was crowded but we were lucky managed to get seats at the back of restaurant for 15persons We have tried all t noodles and rice and all food are taste not salty Some people may felt food taste bad but we would like to say less salty means you should taste how origin are the ingredients used in preparing the food We are spoilt by our heavier tastebuds we are so used to have chili padi with soysauce n heavy spread of white pepper powder added to our food. These condiments will dominate and covered the actual taste of a food it should have. Their prawn mee is served with chicken feet..that is a surprise to us..😊 We enjoyed our food and kids have no complaints with their's. .all food finished without waste. Note: parking space is a challenge. Would like to suggest park your vehicle at nearby public carpark area....

If you are going to travel to Bukit Mertajam, as a Penangite, I will recommend to you that this hawker area is definitely a hotspot for you to stop by for breakfast or lunch. It serves variety of delicious local cuisine as early at 6 in the morning until noon.

My personal favourite will be the Pek Kong Cheng Curry Mee which located just opposite the coffee shop (亚合咖啡店), do grab a seat at this coffee shop as it serves delicious "kaw kaw" coffee that will make you want to order another cup.

I deducted a star was due to the reason of difficult to obtain parking lot. You may choose to park a bit further at a private parking area which will cost you RM2. Be safe and enjoy the marvelous food that this hawker...

In my secondary school years, remember my favorite foods here, namely the koay teow thng (huge fish ball), char koay kak(not dark colour), lou see fan (with watery chilly sauce), white wantan mee (don't use thick soya sauce), dry hokkien prawn mee and most importantly teochew koay chiap. The lou see fan and white wantan mee are really BM localized variants, may not have elsewhere. About three years ago I came back to have the teochew koay chips with my family and they seem to like it, that morning I finished two bowls of koay chiap and regretted not having the third. When I can find some time, I'll come back for more... Note: you need to be a BM大山脚 guy to understand...
