Nice dessert options in a calm and airy space that's well cooled due to the AC. Tried the bestseller green tea matcha option. The taste is OK, presentation is eye catching and serving size is good for the rather high price paid considering the old market surroundings. However the green tea option lacks oomph. The green tea flavor isn't strong and the ice, although very finely grinded, doesn't stand out in its taste. Choose a table with a small aquarium so you can see the guppies swimming as you eat and chitchat. Biggest downside is the service. First dish took about 13 mins to arrive when the place wasn't even half full. Slow inefficient service. Park next door at the hokkien center which is foc. Or park right outside the shop which has 2 very narrow slot in parking lots.

Came here on a quiet Sunday night close to closing hour. Thought the shop was pretty quiet. However, staffs were pretty attentive and cheerful. Dessert quality is definitely good. A good dessert shop “hidden” in the heart of BM. A good place to accomodate a group of up to 6 person as they have seatings to cater for that. If you have issue finding parking. Refer to the parking note by one of the reviewers in this review list. Would come again ? Yes 😀

Nice desserts that you will revisit THE GRASS again. At beginning, I was thinking to give feedback on carpark availability. Somehow I met the THE GRASS BM owner and she provided me the carpark areas as below and glad to share with you also.

Free carpark - In front of THE GRASS and limited carpark, only 4 cars only.

Free carpark - Just besides THE GRASS shop - Inside the "Hokkien Hoay Kuan" if you are the THE GRASS customer.

New Private carpark- Opposite the TONMOOI Electrical Shop. You need to pay for RM3 and just 60 meters walk way to THE GRASS.

Besides the famous "BM YAM RICE Kopitiam". Just 10 meters walk way.

All sideroad have carpark slot. Please remember to pay for MPSP parking fee.

Opposite "Cathay Food Court" (Behind THE GRASS Shop) have private carpark for RM3. Just need 100 meter walk way to THE GRASS.
