Small Wonder Preschool Eco Ardence (Formerly Treemendous Ardence) — Attraction in Shah Alam

This preschool adopts a play-based learning educational approach. Lessons are conducted with engaging fun-filled activities, where the children get to play and move around the classroom (not the typical traditional education environment where they need to sit and stare at the blackboard / whiteboard for a long stretch till recess period). I’m happy that my child has developed well socially and also picked-up some Mandarin language. He enjoys all the interactive activities provided in the weekly preschool program (Outdoor, Learning Corners, Kindermusik, etc) and will excitedly share happy / amusing stories from school... something that I look forward to every day after work 😊

The teachers and staffs are all very dedicated, patient and attentive to the children’s needs… providing a warm, nurturing and safe environment. Communication from the preschool is excellent and parents are kept informed, with updates (photos & videos) shared by the teachers every week. The facility is quite new, always very clean and well-organised. The upper floor is contained within brick walls (no glass wall / fence), thus there’s low risk of injuries caused by broken / falling glass panels from above. Access to the upper floor is via a wide spacious staircase which is also used occasionally as auditorium seats (so there is no danger of children accidentally getting stuck in a malfunctioned lift). I am so grateful for the experience my child has received here. The curriculum is well-planned and engaging, offering a great balance between academic learning and creative play. I l hope Small Wonder will continue to encourage exploration and hands-on activities, making each day fun and educational for my child even as they move on to more academic learning.

The teachers here are truly exceptional—patient, caring, and dedicated to nurturing each child's individual needs. They take the time to understand each student's needs and provide support in a gentle, encouraging way. I hope they are all well remunerated for their efforts as they genuinely love working with children and are committed to creating a positive, supportive learning environment.

The environment is spacious, bright, and welcoming. The sandpit, playground, common areas for music and movement lessons are really a big plus, allowing children to have a variety of experiences throughout the day. The strict teacher: student ratio that the school adheres to in each class is also important in ensuring the best learning for the kids and teaching by the teachers.
