The Waterfront Sky Villas — Attraction in Marsascala

The apartment itself was great – very spacious, with a fun billiard table and a fantastic pool and terrace area, which we enjoyed the most. Overall, it had everything needed for a relaxing stay. That said, some of the interiors felt a bit worn (for example, the door latch was stuck, so we couldn’t properly close one of the doors).

The part that left me most disappointed was the communication. I booked back in March and received very little information apart from "we will contact you before the stay," but no indication of when. Five days before arrival, I tried to confirm the booking by email but got no reply. The next day, I tried calling several times with no response, and I honestly started to worry it might be a scam. Finally, they reached out three days before the stay and, from that point onward, everything went smoothly. Still, this uncertainty before arrival did leave me with mixed feelings. Great view, unfortunately that is the only positive thing about this property. Superficial cleanliness: horrible stench from the dishwasher, refrigerator and clogging drains. Rude staff: the staff would yell at us for asking basic stuff. Apparently, dishwasher tabs they can provide, but when we ask for the washing machine detergent, it is a self catering apartment. That apart, why the yelling? Barbeque pit is a joke: It needs about 20kgs of coal to run this, which you have to bring yourself BTW. Because the host provides only 2kg.

There are much better apartments/hotels in Malta for 1/10th the price. I do not recommend anyone to pay 250€/night and get treated...

It was a lovely place and very calm neighborhood, for me it’s bit a far from restaurants and pubs, but there were supermarkets, stores and fish store in walking distance to 5 minutes by car , we were grilling on the balcony every day so it was perfect. just a few things, it would be nice if there were more kitchen equipment and BBQ tools, cuz they have a beautiful kitchen and nice grill outside.
