I do not usually write reviews but this place deserves a special mention, I've been 5 times and I was never disappointed, high quality ingredients, friendly staff and fast service.
In my honest opinion, the pizza is by far the best in Malta and even better of some places in Napoli (I have worked as pizzachef for 10 years so I do recognize excellence), risotto pescatore is a masterpiece of flavors, wild boar fettuccine are mind blowing, haven't tried yet the rest of the menu but I will for sure.
A bit disappointed by the burgers, I can't say they were bad, but I had better, but if you are a burgers lover go for it, I rarely eat burgers so maybe is just my perception.
Prices are a bit above average, but quality costs and I'm happy to pay a bit more for such a delicious experience, it worth every cent.
Ah, I almost forgot, is also pet friendly.
Unfortunately I cannot give more stars as the maximum is five, but it deserves more, definitely recommended...

The staff’s professionalism and patience made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Situated within the Sensi Hotel near St. Thomas Bay, Al Legna offers a cozy atmosphere complemented by the delightful aroma of wood-fired pizzas. Their extensive menu boasts over 60 pizza varieties, all crafted with fresh ingredients and baked to perfection in a traditional wood oven. We came in the morning at 9:50 for breakfast but they didn't want to serve us even though it says on the boards that they serve breakfast from 7 to 10:30. Next time we came for dinner, we waited 20 minutes for them to give us menu and 1 hour and 30 minutes to have food (hamburger and risotto). The risotto was tasteless, with something inside that felt like sand in mouth and was looking bad. Every morning when we would come for coffee (because it was next to hotel), we would wait more than 30 minutes for them to take our order even though they would only have 1 or 2 tables (mostly we would go inside to ask for it because we would be tired of waiting). It was promising the first night and then disappointing...
