Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria, Gozo is a beautiful green space in Gozo's largest city. The gardens are re-planted to reflect the fauna of the season. During the holidays Villa Rundle is full of Santa and his helpers as well as skilled crafters and artists. In the spring, it is filled with all types of pollinating flowers attracting the Maltese Bees. Each planting follows the season. It is located just a two minute walk from the public bus station. Surrounded by kiosks, restaurants, open farmer's markets and shops, when in Victoria it is a respite from the busy city. Visit whilst on holiday for a great photo opt.

A soothing and relaxing park to have a walk in. It also has a little shopping mall close to it and a bus stop at one of the corners of the Gardens. So when going to the shopping mall and eventually leaving without knowing what time the bus comes around, only to find out you have to wait 20 more minutes or so, this is really the best way to spend your spare 20 minutes. Also makes up for a great photo op, although it seems Google won't let me find the pictures of this location in my gallery besides one extremely weird close up of my feet.

The regeneration of the Villa Rundle garden now provides recreational facilities and an open space for families. This project included the removal of old structures and concrete passages. A new reservoir was built in order to retain rainwater which will then be used for the watering of plants in the Villa Rundle Garden. The Garden also incorporates a playing area, a visitors’ centre and an area dedicated to open-air activities. Accessible for persons with a disability

Everytime we are in Gozo, we pay a visit to this garden. It is pretty, and well kept. It is also decorated a few times per year, like for Christmas and Valentine's Day.... the decor makes it more special! The garden is quite busy given it's location (but not crowded). There's a small playing area for kids also, some cats live here and you are allowed to take your pet dog on a leash for a walk there. All around, a wonderful place to visit time and time again.

We came past these gardens by accident and decided to take a look, we were not disapointed. The trees and flowers go together in perfect harmony and the colors are wonderful! There are some stray cats in the gardens, for which you can leave bottles in the machine and empty your water so they have something to drink.
