Mio Cancún Hotel Boutique — Attraction in Cancún

The staff was very rude, complete lack of manners. I had a problem with the bank so i couldn't withdraw any cash, I still got my credit card in the booking and also was one night and I left 100dls as a downpay. So, they are very VERY concerned about you paying them even if you still have 6 more nights there, so when I got back from a hole day excursion, when I got to the hotel they didn't even let me go to the bathroom and the greeting was "are you going to pay now?" "¿Ya nos vas a pagar?" Very welcoming. Also, they watch TV and I had to wear earplugs every night because it was very loud.||You can't turn on the light without turning on the fan, so you can't turn on the fan at night because you turn the light on also.||There were cockroaches, big nasty cockroaches and also the small ones.||They didn't made the bedroom. Breakfast is at 8 and almost all the excursions leave||at 7, so no much chance to eat anything. So combining everything, one night I killed one cockroach after it walked all over my toothbrush, (which I had to change), I left at 7 that morning without having a chance of having breakfast, when I came back at 6 in the afternoon they didn't made my bedroom so the cockroach was still there with another one...

My husband & I booked this hotel for 3 nights to enjoy our first time arrival in Cancun city, but sadly, with disappointment I have to admit that: our experience at this hotel was NOT PLEASANT: 1) for first two nights there were disturbing mechanical sounds in the building, 2) The air conditioner is releasing water and creating a puddle in the room. 3)There is no hot water, 4) for breakfast there is only bread, coffee & fruit, 5) they have problems with paying method: we were asked to pay twice (of course it did not happen) because they supposably haven’t received the payment, even though we have been charged. What else can go wrong with this hotel?! For sure: they need to do some improvements!! I can’t recommend this place with so...

I enjoyed my stay the first night. After being in tulum, I book another 3 nights with them!

The staff is very friendly and helpful!

I believe it only has 8 to 10 rooms, roof patio, and about 5 parking spaces in front of the hotel.

There are mosquitoes so have your repellent!

The a.c. is on point and with the fan running, it chills the room very quickly.
